Hello Pedro,
Indeed, my problem was that the init.sh script has not been at all executed.
I've spent the last day trying to trace down the problem, which was rather
weird, since the exact same configuration (as presented in the example in the
documentation you provided, too) worked on another o
Dear all,
In my ONE system, sometimes, after the front-end's startup, I've noticed that
the KVM drivers (vmm_kvm and im_kvm) are not able to load. At first I didn't
understand what could be causing such ONE malfunction, but soon I tracked back
all related errors and found the answer in the very
Hi,
I am trying the saveas command.
I did a saveas of my running VM and I see in the images the "new" image
in status LOCKED.
fine
I see in the doc that image will be ready when VM is shutdown.
So I shutdown my VM (I see its status in SHUTDOWN) but my image is still
in status LOCKED, and I do n

Hello,
thanks Jhon, this is indeed a very nice tip. It makes perfect sense. We are
not going to change the current code, because your tip implies that the
frontend has access to the file-server which needs not be the case. However
we're going to reflect your suggestion in the documentation.
We ha
Hi,
Nice simplification.
I did not know about the ssh_exec_and_log function.
Another thing learned. :)
Thank you for including it on the page!

Jhon

Hi,
The documentation of the VMware OpenNebula guide was missing a step,
apologies for that. It is now fixed, this is the set of steps you have
to follow in order to get passwordless ssh login between the ONE
front-end and the ESX nodes:
* login to the esx host (ssh )
* become root (su)
* $

Hi,
Are you running the OpenNebula on a VM? We've seen this type of error when
OpenNebula is started under heavy-load (usually in a VM low on CPU
resources)
Cheers

Hi Charles,
Are you using the plain password for the awsSecretKey? If so, use the
sha1 hashed version instead. You can retrieve it from the oneuser show
output.
Hope this helps

Hi,
When you modify the DB, there are two important things to be aware of:
- OpenNebula must be stopped first, otherwise the cached objects will be
flushed again to the DB and your changes will be ignored
- All the data is stored as xml inside the body column. Some attributes are
copied to anothe
Hello,
I get this error:

Hi Ruben,
No, I'm running OpenNebula on a 'normal' physical machine, with which I didn't
have problems so far. Apart from heavy load, IYHO, could anything else be
possibly causing such malfunction?
Cheers,
Lehel.

Hi everyone,
We have a new contribution to the OpenNebula ecosystem: onenox, an
extension of the OpenFlow controller NOX that can be called directly by
the econe server of OpenNebula. Advanced network services can be enabled
by onenox by pushing new rules set onto the Open vSwitch of a cloud
Hi,
I tried with the upgrade as per your suggestion. It is working well now
for files below 4G.
But a new problem have arrived. of maximum file that I can upload.
When Image size was below 4 GB it works fine. But when my image file
size is more that 4 GB it fails.
I checked the upload file
Hi,the following is a longer email, but I believe there are others also having the need to make a "smooth" upgrade from 3.2.x to 3.4Thanx again to Carlos to show me the right way, so how did we do the Migration of 3.2.1 to 3.4 having certain active VMs and not the chance to shut them down. Some back
Hi,
