Hi Dmitri, I think it *does* work. What do you mean with: > I.e. all my networks are added as 'ovswitch' type, and there is no openvswitch present on 8021q hosts... The network driver applies to a host, not to the network. Cheers, Jaime On Fri, May 2, 2014 at 2:49 PM, Dmitri Chebotarov wrote

To answer my own question - doesn't look like it's going to work. Network type (8021q/ovswitch/etc) restricts hosts where VM can start. I.e. all my networks are added as 'ovswitch' type, and there is no openvswitch present on 8021q hosts... -- Thank you, Dmitri Chebotarov VCL Sys Eng, Engineer

Hi Can hosts with different network model (802.1q and ovs) be part of the same cluster? Would live migration work between those? -- Thank you, Dmitri Chebotarov VCL Sys Eng, Engineering & Architectural Support, TSD - Ent Servers & Messaging 223 Aquia Building, Ffx, MSN: 1B5 Phone: (703) 993-61
