Hi all!
I am a bit confuse on where to put the dictionaries. I have installed

Hi,
I'm implementing a route in openser.cfg which sends calls to ENUM
destinations via one SBC. In cases where there is no IP connectivity for
that ENUM calls to be delivered, my SBC fires a timeout sending back to
openser a 504 SIP message reply. In this cases I would like to be able to

Hi Bogdan,
I tried it and it works great! Thanks again for your help. :-)
But one thing... how can I achieve this the other way around?
use...@domain.de should be able to place calls, which should look as originated
from one of its "alias" accounts.
I think it must be as easy as your workaround
I really means exactly what you read. OpenXCAP can store that
information. Whether somebody really puts its there and makes use of
it is not up to OpenXCAP is up to the devices that uses it.

There are somewhat ugly ways to do this. I did it in SER v0.9.x but admit my
approach was not very elegant. SER v2 has a module to do sequential hunting in
a more elegant fashion.
In my approach I check if the extension has permission to use call hunting and
if hunting is enabled at this time.
Bogdan,
If I use uac_replace_from in a route already,
how do I change from in further failure_route call handling?
Or I have use a B2BUA for this purpose?

Bogdan,
After calling twice uac_replace_from() in failure route
the 200 OK reply restores the from header as

so you use it only in failure_route, this should be ok - what do you
mean by redundant FROM hdr? can you post a trace ?

Hi Mauro,
yes, you can can obtain a sequential forking, but what Chris is a
parallel forking but with delayed branches.

Bogdan,
We have tested several ways:
1. use uac_replace_from in failure route only:
this make redundant "from" header in reply 200 OK.
2. use uac_replace_from in request route and failure route:
It makes outgoping INVITE with strange from header.

Sorry,
and if I can change the qvalue with the lookup function (how with the path
proposed) I cannot obtain a working sequential forking (i.e. the first call is
sent to the first contact after the ring timeout the call (with the next_branch
function) is forwarded to the second contact and so on
What you can do is:
1) before applying aliases, save the RURI into an AVP
2) do alias ->userXY, do whatever other routing stuff, including
lookup("location");
3) just before sending out the request, do: if $du (destination URI) is
empty, copy the current RURI into $du ($du = $ru); (id $du alread
Hi Bogdan,

Hi Mauro,
not really (as I understand it). What Chris wants to do is not to start
all branches (for parallel forking) in the same time (as you do), but to
start them one by one (ad different time intervals).

Sorry Bogdan,

With the lookup function patch (that add the q value to the input parameter,
the same assigned to you) Chris can invoke the lookup function three time with
the three subscriber and obviously three different qvalue. After
Hi Bogdan,
could you be more specific here, please?

because the box receiving the forwarded calls should be able to distinct which
number was diale

Hi KK,
do you do uac_replace_from() in other routes than failure_route() ? like

Hi Tamer,
OpenSIPS can deliver as many calls as you want to a single SIP account,
but depends on the device registered with that account (the GS ata) how
to handle the multiple calls.

Hi Uwe,
Actually none of the functions you listed do change the SDP - both are
mangling the signalling part (VIA and Contact headers).
engage_media_proxy() is the function that triggers all the changes in
the SDP part.

Hi Bobby,
you can blacklist a user by forbidden it to register (at REGISTER time).
You can use something similar to groups / ACL to know what users to
blacklist. As I guess you do auth before save("location"), use the
"load_credential" auth_db param to load some extra fields from
"subscriber"
Hi Bobby,
you mean the current process is stucked in something.. I suspect in
PQgetResult() trying to read the result. Can you attach with gdb to one
of this blocked processes and get the backtrace (to see where they are
blocked) ?
