Hi Guys
I'm having trouble finding the documentation which confirms that
OpenSIPS 1.6.x support using a text label instead of numbers for routes
and flags.
I have a working system so I did not want to play until I was sure that
I had fully understood the implementation.

Actually, what may be good is some methodologies on *how* to benchmark. It's
outside of the scope of opensips itself. But I understand Yin's point
regarding needing some stats to decide if opensips is the right product.
Because of the various things you can do with Opensips, and the various

Thank you very much, Bogdan! I've forgot about load_credentials :(

Hi Alexander,
auth_ module simply does only the digest authentication. Whatever
additional check you may need can be done from the script, if auth is
passed. if you need some extra info from the subscriber table, you can
use the "load_credentials" param to fetch it in script.

Hi Ha,
the NAT branch flag you use is 7 (nat_bflag) and in usrloc you find the
branch flags in the cflags (contact flags) field. The cflags is a mask
with all the branch flags: 192 = 128 (2^7) + 64 (2^6)

Hi Yin,
Something like you ask is not possible - again, when you do a
benchmarking, you do for a specific configuration - and configurations
can be billions (so far I haven't seen 2 alike :) ).
Different kind of measurements can be found here:

Hi Ahmed,
check the admin tutorial:
http://www.voice-sistem.ro/downloads/2007.08.29-Admin-Course/
It has some good examples about how to do ACLs.

Hi Ha,
Got it - the example for the alternate_ip param was indeed wrong. I
fixed the issue on SVN and the online docs will be automatically updated
during next night.

Bogdan

Hello all!
I have a question about authorization: is there ability to specify additional
conditions? For example, like it's done in postfix?
We check only username and password in OpenSIPS, but there may be additional
info, like "status" (active, suspended, blocked, etc...). So, if name

Hi Bogdan,
I found that opensips 1.6.1 has been released on 21st Sep. 2009.
I wonder if you have done some testing on it before release to the public.
If yes, then the result will show some tips of the performance, right?
Acutally, the "cps" is also an important performance reference.
So, I thin
Hi,
I want to implement ACL on OpenSIPs to accept the call on behalf of source
URI + IP address. Can anyone tell me which modules and functions are
required for it also which tables will involve in it?
Also kindly share some example template with it.
