Hi, we are using opensips as outbound proxy. We have a problem when a UA
registers with certain servers via opensips but the contact address returned by
the registrar is that of opensips rather than the UA. Both the UA and opensips
are on public ip and we have opensips inserting path header.
As I told, new B2B INVITE hasn't original Via headers. Is it normal?

Thanks for sharing this! I had the exact same problem and hadn't figured
out a solution yet. Much appreciated.

Hi Nauman,
First you need to see who's changing the Contact hdr (from UA IP to
opensips IP) - does the REGISTER received by REGISTRAR server carry the
right Contact?

Hi Boby,
seams to be an error with the documentation (just fixed it) - the
rtpproxy_autobridge param is not available in 1.6, but only in trunk.
This feature was not included in the official release as it includes
some code in the TM (transaction module) that needs to be rework (as the
yes, Anton, it is normal - as a B2BUA acts as UAC (new message, single
VIA) on the outbound side.

Hi Anton,
The ERROR line you have here are not essential - they simply say that
the warning (optional) hdr was not added. Not an actual error.
Can you check doing a capture at net level who is generating the 404
reply? from opensips script, for final callee ?

Bogdan

Hi Alejandro,
First silly question - are you sure your script logic gets to the
check_source_address () function ? Try to place an xlog() there to see
if it gets hit.
You have to take care that the script block you are doing auth is called
only if the caller (FROM hdr) belong to your domain
yes, there is such a var:

Hi Bogdan.
I fixed the B2B loop, but openSIPS still replies 404.

Hi Gareth,
In the logs you sent, I do not see any logs from opensips related to the
processing on the second INVITE (with credentials)those logs may
give essential information about what is going on.

Thanks. I have done that but the only debug messages I get is the one I

Hi,
I've using the liveDVD as my vm, and kept all default file/conf.
However, I found I couldn't change the cfg file
(/usr/local/opensips_proxy/etc/opensips/opensips_proxy.cfg).
Every time I made any modification, save it, restart opensips, the file
is changed back to the original one.
