I am trying to intall some of the modules for OpenSIPS.
Mainly, because I need to overcome NAT issue, when OpenSIPS is
installed on Amazon EC2.
I constantly see, that some of the functions for modules must be inserted into
REQUEST_ROUTE and/or ONREPLY_ROUTE and/or BRANCH_ROUTE

Indeed, there was a typo in the configuration file. The
unforce_rtp_proxy() function has been replaced by rtpproxy_unforce()
function[1].

If you are new to OpenSIPS, you should start by following a couple of
webinars [1] to understand how OpenSIPS works. The getting started
tutoria [2] might also be useful.

And what about the engage_rtp_proxy and rtpproxy_engage. They both say
Deprecated :)
Shouldn't only one be deprecated?
It is also unclear to me what method is preferred, Should I use engage or the
offer answer functions?

Yup, you are right, rtpproxy_engage() is not deprecated :). Fixed the
documentation.
Regarding the engage vs offer/answer functions, this is strongly related
to your scenario. If you simply want to use RTPProxy in a common
scenario (for two clients behind NAT), you can simply call
rtpproxy_en

All I am thinking of is to trace this at the network level: check when
the session is created and when it is closed. Because after it is
closed, OpenSIPS can no longer connect to that client.

I've done one more test. I'm testing with my opensips.org accounts. So, same
clients, same connections. Just different server... and it is working, so
this confirms that the problem it is my opensips config.
Would this give you an idea to help me?
