I try to use openXCAP (integrated with opernSIPS).
Whenever I add a buddy to a client (in this case Eyebeam) I get errors in

It isn't very spooky, i also recently set up an openxcap and opensips
server and i remember that something similar happened.
Try running openxcap manually with the no fork argument, if i'm not
mistaken: $openxcap --no-fork
It should give you more hints

2.5 is the minimum requirement. It should work with 2.6 just fine.

Well, first of all you need python 2.5. The fff debug statement in a
system startup script will likely not get you anywhere near finding
the real cause of the problem. You really need some experience with
working with Linux systems in the first place before attempting to
harness the power o

Also one point is access.log file is created when I run the server but
nothing written to it.

This is spooky. There should be some trace of some kind. There is
nothing helpful in your description to help you further.
Check if you have at least installed the dependencies like python 2.5
to start with.
