Dan,
Maybe I make a big problem out of nothing, but in worst case - if all media
relays are down - the internal/private ip's will still be in the body sdp
field. Result: no audio.
I'm just thinking of a solution (besides not using engage but
use_media_proxy or end_media_session) activating Nat he

engage_media_proxy is automatic and as a result it has a default behavior that
may or may not match your needs. if you need control over the process you need
to use use_media_proxy and end_media_sessio

The request is not sent
For this reason I rather use the engage_media_proxy.
Maybe a feature request should be made. Something like the return of the ip
addres from the media relay that answered the request, and -1 if no
media-relay answered?

You could use
Hi Saúl,
O.K., so there is no way to find out if the media-dispatcher found a working
relay before I execute the t_relay?
This just in case all media-relays fail or the media-dispatcher stopped, so
I can do a fix_nated_sdp.

Edwin

Is it possible to test if engage_media_proxy succeeded or failed?
This because I have to fix the SDP headers if the mediaproxy fails...
I was trying something like this:
if(engage_media_proxy())
{
xlog("L_INFO", " INFO : engage_media_proxy O.K.\n");
}
else
{
xlog("L_INFO", " INFO
yes, now is working
