Just a thought... I don't know about the model component you are using
but if you change the value of a capacitor while it is charged the
voltage changes. So choosing the value for a component in a circuit is
one thing. Dealing with a charged capacitor which changes can produce
some interesting
Thank you very much Samuel !

Dear Scilab community,
I am completely new to Scilab. Since I would like to get used to Genetic
Algorithms, I experimented a bit using the documentation's examples. Until
now, I am quite happy. My first steps went well, but I have got a question
regarding functions with multiple input parameters:
Hello Theodoros
In Scilab 5, you shall install the Coselica module!
|--> atomsInstall("coselica")
|Then
--> help
you will find the /MEAB_VariableCapacitor / in the Electrical palette
/Coselica/ is not yet available in Scilab 6
IMO, it shall be the top1 priority of External Xcos modules to port i
Hallo Community,
I need in my model a Variable Capacitor. But in Xcos-Paletten-Browser there
is not one. There is only a variable resistor block.
How can I manually create a variable capacitor block for my simulations in
Xcos ?
Thank you in advance!

Hello !
I had the same problem.
The work-around is to copy the “scripts” directory (in MinGW home directory) in
“macros”.
I already opened a ticket about this point.

Thanks for clarifying things :), indeed it was not easy to replicate behaviors

Hi Stefan,
Could you open a bug with all your system information please ?
As you might known, we not only build scilab but also pass the tests on the
binary version using a
set of different machines before releasing. This is likely a bug in your local
configuration (either
