Dear colleagues: I have problems computing the inverse-chi-squared distribution in SciLab with
cdfchi = cumulative distribution function chi-square distribution. I want to generate the 95% confidence limit of small numbers like below number n lower limit upper limit 0 0.00 3.69 1 0.03 5.57 2 0.24 7.22 3 0.62 8.77 4 1.09 10.24 5 1.62 11.67 and this is easily calculated in EXCEL with conf=0.95 and =CHIINV(1-(1-conf)/2,2*n)/2 for the lower limit; and =CHIINV((1-conf)/2,2*(n+1))/2 . But how do I do this in SciLab? Heinz This email and any attachments are intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom it is addressed and may be confidential and/or privileged.
