Hi,
the path to ipsec.conf is hard-coded during compilation time
and cannot be change dynamically. ipsec.conf is actually parsed
by ipsec starter. As an alternative you could store and modify
your configuration in an SQLite or MySQL database which is read
directly by charon.

hi,
is it possible to give a different than the default (and seemingly
hardcoded) path /etc/ipsec.conf? I have a scenario that requires
preparing multiple config files, and I have to let charon work with a
specific file
I am using version 4.3.5 still
