Hi guys, I like to use the Apache Maven Checkstyle-Plugin with Java 8 but unfortunately it uses Checkstyle 5.7 that doesn't support Java 8. Checkstyle itself support Java 8 since version 5.9. Is there a plan to migrate the Checkstyle-Plugin to this version or can I migrate myself?
