To add something to the first issue. This is solved in subversion. If
you check out the plugin and build it, you should get a javadoc plugin
that doesn't show you an empty page, but shows the javadoc index page.

Not sure about the error thrown by the changelog, but more people have
experienced changelog issues in M2.

This at least solved the changelog 0 entries problem for me.

I've been having the same problem, I've done some debugging, and on my
machine the problem was related to the following piece of code in the
CvsChangeLogGenerator
