Hi Michael, That's because you should be using Maven 1.0-rc1 from CVS HEAD with Cactus 3.1. The relase notes may have wrongly said that it was supported on maven b10. OTOH, if you let Maven downlad an updated version on maven.jar it should work fine (however, it's a bit difficult to explain so if
