As far as I know, you have to remove the checksums from your local repo by hand, and then rerun the build and let the proper remote ones be downloaded.
The problem is that once you get something in local repo, maven never updates it. It only checks to see if it is there or not. In your case, it looks like what you have locally does not match what the remote repo has. There are a number of JIRA's open regarding this.
