You could install it on your home computer rather than the one at your
company, I suppose. Right now work is being done on creating installers,
but looks like it’ll take a while still.

There's no installing from a ZIP. There's simply unzipping a ZIP file like
any other ZIP file. If you're allowed to unzip a ZIP file, then you're
allowed to unzip the NetBeans ZIP file.

Yes, I think there is something awry with the log4j-api-2.11.1.jar. To get
it working just using ModulePath, I first:
1) Opened the log4j-api-2.11.1.jar file in Archive Manager
2) Copied the module-info.class file from /META-INF/versions/9/ folder to
the root of the archive
