Hi Ken You're saying you reprojected the data to spherical mercator, but there still is a ref to an EPSG:2153 projection object in your GML layer's options. That doesn't look correct. Cheers, Eric 2008/12/7, Ken Sanderson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Just thought I would post a quick update. I have b

Just thought I would post a quick update. I have been beating my head against the problem for a few days and tried most everything I could think of including the steps outlined below to reproject the vector data. I tried KML as well and though it would display fine in Google Earth, it wouldnt d

Hello What version of the lib are you using? A bug looking like what you're describing was fixed in 2.7. Cheers, Eric 2008/12/7, Maarten Deen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > I have a map on which I draw longitude and latitude lines. The strange thing > is: > these lines disappear at higer zoom levels. >

If i can remember correctly, OL and Firefox shouldn't exceed a maximum of about 1500 points at all. Are there any known limits or best practices ? Quoting Allan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > > I've got a vector layer in a OL + Virtual Earth setup that's pulling some > 2,300 points from a KML file.

Hi Bobby, from mypoint of view, it could be possible to abuse OL as a viewer for your mathematical plots. You just have to create a new layer, whose points are calculated based on a mathematical function. But here arise my problems: Coordinates are from my point of view discrete values. Your

I've got a vector layer in a OL + Virtual Earth setup that's pulling some 2,300 points from a KML file. Works great and I've got a cluster strategy in place to improve performance and tidy thinsg up a bit. It's still a bit sluggish however and I'm wondering if there is any way I can speed things

[OpenLayers-Users] Lines disappearing at higer zoom

I have a map on which I draw longitude and latitude lines. The strange thing is: these lines disappear at higer zoom levels. In Firefox 3, the longitude disappears from zoom 10 and the latitude from zoom 11, in IE 6, it is zoom 14 and 13 respectively. The map is at
