Thanks, works perfect. I had not noticed that WMS inherits from Grid
class instead of Layer.

Hi Gregor,
I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but the solution proposed
in this thread:
http://n2.nabble.com/problems-with-the-overview-map-td1823331.html#a1823331
worked for me.
If you're looking to have only a fix overview map, that doesn't zoom in or
out, it will work. Well, it
Hi everybody
I noticed that after zooming in/out OL requests much more tiles from eg.
a WMS server than are needed to show in the map container/viewport. That
means also tiles really far away from the geographical area currently
visible on the map are downloaded. I understand that in most cases

Hi,
You are surely using the minified version of OpenLayers. If you are using
this version, you won't be able to use the method Alexandre described. Be
sure to use lib/OpenLayers.js, this one is not minified.

Hi,
when i'm trying to set the center and zoom-level via the
setCenter-method, i get back an image of the whole world. I have no
idea, why it doesn't apply the setting.
The strange thing is, i can see the right extent for a short time, but
before rendering is finished, it changes to the whole
Hi,
i assume it is trivial, but i couldn't figure it out.
When a user clicks on my markers I would like to see if it was a "Right
mouse click" or a "Shift Left mouse click" etc.
How can I do this? Here is my code snippet:
this.markersLayer.events.register("featureselected", this.markersLa
Hello list,
this is my first time writting to the list.

Aha, now I understand what you mean.
Not that I am any export on this, but I still think it is a bit ugly to
mask the SVG and these things. The underlaying vector features will not
reflect the change if you do so, but perhaps it is the best solution for
a given context?
Another approach could be
Hello Poul,
the styleinformation of this virtual points (vertices) is set in the
initialize function of the ModifyFeatureControl.
If you want to change the style i think you have to do it there.

Ok, you're right. I was looking in the wrong place. I've solved it.
Thanks.

OpenLayers.Control.Panel has an activateControl method, so if you put your
controls in a panel you can easily activate a control.

Thanks for your response Atle,
I'm trying to achieve a result that when I draw lots of lines on a page,
that I can erase everything underneath a path, preserving the parts of
the features not touched by the eraser. This isn't therefore a case of
removing the entire feature (more of a 'hide' fea
Hello list,
Is there a simple way (like a property or function) that set's an active tool?
I mean, something like map.setActiveTool(aTool)??
Thanks.
