1) As you are looking to represent on a map a concrete projection, is to have
the coordinates (BBox in latlon, center in latlon and zoom for googlemaps)

I'm having performance problems with Chrome/Chromium when using the Measure
Control in a map with a lot of features. This is particularly notorious when
finishing the measurement. It works much better in Firefox and perfect in
Opera.

My map page has measure controls for path & polygon, and a DragPan
control, as well as various other controls. I have defined a custom
