Essentially, on my maps, there are multiple things happening at the same
exact location. Unfortunately right I can't tell that by looking at it
(there's only one dot being shown) and I can only tell there's more than one
thing happening when I click on it and do the getFeatureInfo request.

I apologize I was not giving all the information. It IS a WMS layer and I'm
using GeoServer.
Can I use a Vector layer, and still smartly query the database to only
show documents that would be seen on screen. I have a lot of points that
come from the layer, and wouldn't want to always be
