I’m using the latest version of OpenOffice. I made a Spreadsheet with it and
updated it several times. Now it will not open. I get a message saying General
Error with an Okay button below it. I click Okay and OpenOffice closes. What’s

OpenOffice does open .docx but sometimes files can be too complex. Try another
application.
Or ask the sender to resend the file in .doc or .odt or PDF if you don't need
to edit the file.

Red wavy underlining, like that used in Spellcheck, has appeared in all of my
OpenOffice and Microsoft Word documents, under every line of text, in a
recently purchased new laptop. I have not been able to remove it. How do I
