This is what you can do for now:
1) Install an archive extractor like 7-Zip, which is free.
2) Expand the OpenOffice document. The underlying structure of an
OpenOffice document is an archive file.
3) Open the content.xml file using a text editor such as Notepad++, which
is also free.

Yeah, it’s a pain in the ass.
Go to Preferences, security and privacy and hit the general button.
Go there before you hit on another program to open and the last item you
clicked on will be displayed in the middle of the page with an option to open
or not to open.

Privacy settings, but there is not a option to select ignore, or allow.
