Updated Open Office

I recently updated by Apache Open Office program to version 4.1.4.  Ever since the update, the program keeps freezing and "not responding" causing me many delays.  I am having to go back and retype missing parts of documents and even completely restart the computer to get the program to work

Hi, I have mistakenly reduced my "new blank text document" to such a small version that I am unable to create/see/use the 8-1/2 x 11 document that should be on the blank page. How can I enlarge the blank document page to its normal size? Thanks, Irma wolf
