running /usr/bin/soffice from the command line causes OO to belch out:
/usr/bin/soffice: line 121: 5439 Segmentation fault (core dumped)
"$sd_prog/$sd_binary" "$@"
Running on Fedora 31.
Please provide info on how to get around this.
Currently, I am suspecting the RAM.

Runs OK for me using /usr/bin/soffice or merely openoffic
I need the page format to be 5.5 x 8.5. Can you please give me directions on
how to do this please?
Go to Format | Page, select the Page tab and set the desired size.
It is helpful to include which component of AOO you are asking about;
