I have been using an OpenOffice spreadsheet for 7 years now.
Suddenly this week when when I open it it, a pop up box opens with ASCII Filter
options.
If I leave as selected the page opens with a Full page of #’s. And all my data
is not showing.
What to I do to get the information back?

I am a senior with only minimal computer knowledge . Since 2014 I have been
using my Mac OS Mojave Ver 10.14.6 ..To do my finances and many other items
i use Open Office Apache 4 .
The difficulty i have is that over the years much e-mail did get stored to
ASCII files .
Thank you so much for contacting me. I just checked this email. I can't
even describe what caused the problem. The program just stopped in the
middle. Actually I completed my project already anyway. Thank you.
