I have the latest update/upgrade of OO. I have tried to follow the online help section but I don't know how to add page numbers. Is there a simple way/method to auto add page numbering to this great software?

I really enjoy the open office program. The only problem I am having is that it is
constantly crashing. I have removed the program several times and reinstalled it. I again
downloaded it yesterday. When I tried to open it to do some work it Crashed. I can not
access it at all. It will come up with the following: "Due to an unexpected error,
OpenOffice crashed. All the files you were working on will now be saved. The next time
OpenOffice is launched, your files will be recovered automatically." Could you
please advise me on how to access my documents with this program. I have several
important documents that I need.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

You should start by deleting or renaming your OpenOffice user profile. If you
are using Windows do this by:
Close OpenOffice and the Quickstarter. Open File Explorer. Copy and paste
%appdata%\OpenOffice\4 in the File Explorer Address Bar and press Enter. Rename the
"user" folder. Start OpenOffice.

Note that reinstalling OpenOffice does not generate a new User Profile.. You
must explicitly delete it.

If you are not using Windows, details on how to do this are given in
