I am just curious. I had no idea that the Open Office documents were 'zipped' when saved. Does this mean that if I email an Open Office document (as an attachment) it could not be opened by someone running Microsoft Word as that program could not unzip the document? On 7/31/2016 10:21 AM,

Win 7 Pro - in the left hand column I use a lot of Comments. When I right click on some cells, I get the normal drop down menu that lets me leave a comment. Other cells I often get a different drop down menu without the comment commands? On cells that have a comment why is there no EDIT

I have a column in my spread sheet with only one entry in it at the top cell - I have tried everything to clear this cell - nothing works, not delete, not turning off cell protection in the Format Menu, not reformatting it, not writing over it, and not even deleting the column. It is a dead

Open Office 4.1.2 - spreadsheets - hard to make backups. I checked the backup box in tools\options\load-save\general\always create backup - However the only way I can create a backup is similar to MS Word. I have to save the srpeadsheet. Make a minor change (like at a dot at the bottom)
