Account Apache Software Foundation Product OpenOffice Reference # 20762704 Issue [Japanese Calendar][Win32][OpenOffice & 4.16.9790]: [Inserting the date in OpenOffice application is giving English date format even after enabling Japanese calendar Environment: Desktop OS build: 18362, 17763 OS: Windows 10 Pre-requisite: a) Open Intl.cpl b) Select "Japanese (Japan)" from the "Format" drop down c) Select "Additional Settings" Date d) In the "Calendar Type" dropdown, select the 2nd calendar "和暦", which is the Japanese. e) Select "Apply" "Ok" f) Run ActiveTestJapaneseEra registry from \\wsehyd-applib\ae\Public\Win10RTM_OEM_ZDP_PKG1_Testing\JaEraTest\ActiveTestJapaneseEra.reg<file://wsehyd-applib/ae/Public/Win10RTM_OEM_ZDP_PKG1_Testing/JaEraTest/ActiveTestJapaneseEra.reg> 1. Deploy latest 18362 or 17763 build 2. Goto run and type intl.cpl 3. Change the format to Japanese 4. Click on additional settings 5. Change the calender type to second option 6. Click on apply. 7. Install the application from vendor site 8. Launch the application 9. Click on Text document 10. Type something and click on insert->fields->date 11. Observe 12. Note: Issue repro’s only while inserting date after typing something in the doc. 13. But able to insert Japanese date format in new line directly.
