Hello,

I have been teaching/learning how "Conditional Formatting" (cell value and formula is) in OpenOffice Calc works. On new columns (or rows) of data applying the conditional formatting is/has been a very straight forward and an easy process. I have been able to apply the conditional formatting using the "fill" method; define the conditional formatting in a cell and the grab the small square in the lower right corner of the cell and drag the cell to apply the conditional formatting to the desired number of cells.

My question is about applying "formula is" conditional formatting to  existing data (dates) where dates are missing or duplicated in the column and using the fill method described above would alter/change the existing data values.

Thank your for your assistance.
