Robert- if you want the 2/5 to be treated as a number value you have to format the cell(s) first to hold fractions choose the cell(s) do format/cells/under Numbers tab choose fraction then when you enter 2/5 it will sit in the cell that way and be treated as a number value. Notice .4 list
