Howdy,
for some reasons your installation of your old OOo 2.0 seems to be
broken. If you go to the Control Panel - Software and try to uninstall
it manually should get the same error message. Please try the this tool:

I have a attached a file .. that file is opening in openoffice but its
not msoffice
I tried opening the file with Excel 2002 (on Win XP Pro, 256 MB RAM). Excel
couldn't open the file and crashed.
After this Excel automatically opened again in recovery mode, automatically
fixed the problem,

I tried installing nas per Help and no go. I found

because it describes what I am encountering. Nonetheless, I thought that
maybe someone on the list has a workaround or solution.
