After a complaint from a M$ Office based colleague, I discovered that my
Windows OOo save to Excel ".xls" format has changed recently. I have traced
this to updating from OOo 2.0.2 to 2.0.3, in July 2006. The effects are:
- The file size of a sample fault report spreadsheet, saved from XP Window
For a small booklet, it might be quicker to give the booklet to a fast
typist to convert the contents to a text file, then simply relay it out. Had
this situation about 2 years ago. The 5.25 drive wasn't a problem, but -

OOo doesn't open PDF files, it can only export to the format. You need a PDF
reader, such as Acrobat.

Download version 3.13 for the stable - I have used this without problems on
two W98 and four W98SE systems, although I am currently using 4.14 beta on
XP without any hiccups.
