[users] Should I uninstall OO.o 1.15?

I have installed and used both OpenOffice.org 1.1.5 and OpenOffice.org 
2.0.1 on my (Windows XP) computer.  If I go to Control Panel and 
uninstall OpenOffice.org 1.1.5, will I still be able to open and edit 
the *.sx? data files that were created under OpenOffice.org 1.1.5?  Can 
I save them in the new *.od? format of OpenOffice.org 2.0.1?
