I recently encountered an incompatibility when exporting from OOO to Excel97/2000/XP. Apparently, Excel doesn't have a Quotient function. While I know there's a specific warning that some formatting information may be lost, I'm wondering why this was done. Certainly coming as close to possible in compatibility (at least when doing the export) with the MS products will help to make OOO a more attractive product.
Is there any way to resolve this export issue or is this just something that the user of OOO should keep in mind when creating equations?
