I'm new to mac and to open office, so I apologize most profusely for
the stupidity of this question, and yet, I have to know!
Why is there a pseudo harddrive icon labeled Open office.org floating
around on my desktop? It bugged me, so I threw it in the trash. Was
that ok?
Why does Open office take up twice the memory it says it's supposed to?
Can I delete Open office? I can't find anything on this mac that
explains how to delete or remove an application. If I've somehow
installed it wrong or messed it up by throwing away the annoying icon,
I want to be able to remove it and re-install it.
Oh, so dumb, I know. It's just that I can't do anything unless I know
WHY. If I don't understand what's up, it drives me mad.
Have mercy, if you can. I will be immensely, grovelingly grateful for
any advice or info.
