Hi,
I've tried running OpenOffice.org 2.3 from the icon, and it loads
briefly, X11 starts up and then Open Office closes again. X11 remains
open, which is gratifying. On it's first load OOo 2.3 offered to
convert fonts, which I accepted, but Ooo closed shortly after this
after running java (briefly).
Now while OOO 2.3 is running, two menus appear (File and Edit), but
there is not much functionality under these two menus.
I note that the website and FAQ are very big on installing X11 as the
panacea for this sort of issue, but what if it already installed?
Is anyone able to diagnose my problem and perhaps help?
I'd be very grateful.
