I'm using OO 2.3 on Windows XP. Although it's mostly great, duplicating objects seems unintuitive and unreliable. The problems are: - you're supposed to select the object, let go, press Ctrl, click again, hold for 1 second, then drag. Why not just allow the user to hold Ctrl, click the object and drag immediately (with no requirement for the initial object selection)? - even when the above operation is executed, the cursor frequently (50% of the time?) does not change to the + cursor so there's no visual indication that it's safe to start dragging - while dragging there is no indication of the shape being dragged, which makes it difficult to position properly - the alternative, Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V, and drag, is more predictable, but often (maybe 10% of the time) the "source" object (line or whatever) disappears and only reappears when a screen redraw is forced - and finally, I don't see any easy way to force a redraw so I end up scrolling the entire page up off the screen and then down again

Are there solutions to these issues forthcoming?

Thanks
Norm
