Hi
I use OOo Danish version 2.4.0 on Windows XP SP3.

I tried finding a shortcut for the degree sign, in the symbols list i noticed a number in paranthesis (176) and I thought, if I'ld hold a special key and typed that number I would get the degree sign.

I tried holding shift, ctrl, alt, ctrl+shift and ctrl+alt but it didn't work, so I gave it up and wanted to continue writing the dokument.

But now when I try to use the danish special characters æ, ø and å,
all I get is ; ' [ which is what I would get if I changed the windows localisation option to Amercan keyboad. My problem is not related to windows, however, as the special characters work fine when e.g. I'm writing this email in Thunderbird, and also in notepad.
The problem only occurs in OpenOffice.

I can't find any keyboard setting in the OOo setings panel, and my language settings are set to danish.

I hope you can help me setting OOo back up so that I can get the special danish characters to work again. Or just help me resetting all the options to defaults.

TIA
Ole Jensen
