Excuse me for interrupting, Frank, but I'm a writer who is more than
happy working with OOo (under Mandriva Linux) and who neither needs nor
appreciates the kind of condescending (and often just plain wrong)
grammatical advice I used to get from Word.

As a writer I know the tools of my trade pretty well.  If I have a
question, then there's this wonderful gizmo (you may have heard of it)
called a 'book' that I keep on the dest.  It's called 'Fowler's Modern
English Usage' and it's quite reasonably priced!

What I really don't understand is why, if somebody doesn't like OOo, or
Linux, they don't just run along and use something else instead, without
wasting time whingeing in the support forums for those products they
dislike.  But then, who am I to comment?
