Hello All

I process .csv files and send them to my client in .xls (MS Excel)
format, they have requested that they are saved with the "suggest read
only" feature set. I am not refering to the password protect feature.
But the feature that when they open the document it opens in read only
mode. If they then make changes and save it, it will prompt them to
"save as" rather then overwrite the original.

I have tried a number of things. I'm using v2.4.

Tools -> Options -> OpenOffice -> Security -> Open this Document in read
only mode
Save two documents with MS Excel one with it enabled and one without
then comparing them in a hex editor. Not something I usually do. For
identical documents there were far too many diffs.
And a few other less likley candidates.

Does anyone know how I would do this? I would rather not install MS
Excel on wine just for this feature.

Thank you
Simon
