While trying to use Captions in an openoffice 2.0 document, I realised that openoffice allows you to place caption of a picture only below the picture. Unlike in case of say Tables, you cannot choose to place captions to a picture above the picture.
It is silly to put such a restriction (even if a developer thinks she would not like to place captions to her pictures above the pitcures). Does someone know if there is a way around this restriction?
