those lock files in the structure '.~lock*' manually before I start
writing in the other machine.
I searched for options to get away with the lock files, but got none.
Am I missing something?

The text file opened with 'Western Europe (ISO-8859-1)' Character set is
giving proper accent marks and diacritical marks. While spell-checking I
added those words to a special personal dict

I have a serious problem printing in Windows.
*When I view my document in page preview it looks fine.
*If I export it to PDF it comes out fine and prints fine.
*But if I print it from OOo only the graphical logo at the top of the page
prints out, then the rest of the page blank.
