After importing a large MS Word document of many files into OO, then adding text which alters the page total, I find I cannot number the file pages consecutively. OO randomly either remembers the old MS page numbers (which I cannot alter) or renumbers them from '1'. I've tried the recommended routes. Using 'Insert, Fields, Page number' only inserts the old MS page number - altering this adds a new number which repeats on each page - useless. Cannot use 'Format, Paragraph, Text Flow, Breaks' as it insists on 'Page style' (which I do not use) and will not paginate without it. Why can't I do what I always did in the past in Lotus Wordpro and MS Word - select the first page number and alter it? Your help would be greatly appreciated. David
