I have 128MB of RAM & some 2-3 GB on the hard drive. No I have not yet tried
openoffice.org 2.1. Do you recommend I try this bearing in mind I have windows
98FE.

document in Microsoft format the whole computer crashes and will not respond to
even the ctl-alt-del keys and has to be shut down by using the off button on
