On this site I have seen numerous Open Office org. 2.4 on an Apple Mac
OS X 10.5.5 users say, that a sudden appearance of a 'Timed Out'
command brings the whole, for me, document 'Word' system to a stand
still.
I thought I was immune.
Now, I'm not.
I must have done something - I don't know what? I know it will be
learning curve.
I have more of them than a lap dancer.
Seriously, how do I get this excellent open project back to work again?
I would really appreciate some kind of guidance,

I may have made some error but I sill got the 'Timed Out'caption.
I downloaded OOo 3.0.0 for Mac Intel and it's a great relief to see
something on the screen again.
Having difficulty though, deleting OOo 2.4 so I get, every now and
then,'Timed Out', but I can live with that.
