John:

You need to get and use OpenOffice.org 2.0.4 which includes support for
the Mac OS X printing system.  This will allow you to utilize both local
and networked printers.

If you are using the American English, French, German, Japanese and
several other languages, you can download this directly from the
OpenOffice.org web page.
