If in XP go to WINDOWS EXPLORER/TOOLS/FOLDER OPTIONS/FILE TYPES. Click on the type of file you want to change such as XLS. You will see the Details for xls extension. Click CHANGE and you will see the options you can select. Reselect MICROSOFT OFFICE EXCEL/OK all the way out. After that all your

Dear Sirs: I have installed Openoffice in my computer. When I try yo open a file which is in any MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint, etc) format it will be opened directly by OpenOffice without giving me the chance to decide if I want to open ot in OpenOffice or in a MS Office
