I would say however that the original question was around 1 Million
rows... I believe that doing anything of this magnitde in a
spreadsheet is asking for trouble. DB would definitely be the way to
go for something of that size.


In OO.o there seems to be a printed sheet length limit approximately 115 cm of painted area when printing out to single sheet of paper (with upper lower marigins it is about 119 cm). It is derived from 64K twips limit. Is such a limit also in Excel or other spreadsheet programs?
