Hi Andrew, The anchor doesn't move wherever it likes... it moves to where you put it. If you move an object outside the paragraph that it was anchored to, you must be moving it into another paragraph. Remember, a paragraph is defined by hard carriage returns. You don't need printable characters

When I move an object in Writer that has an anchor (pictures, inserted spreadsheets, drawings, text boxes, etc.), the anchor's position automatically changes if it's attached to a paragraph: it becomes attached to the paragraph which is closest to the object I move. Can the anchor be fixed to a
