Without the presence of a error message it is hard to say what the
cause of the problem is.
As a last resort you can extract the 'content.xml' file and obtian the
information directly from the xml source using a text viewer. It is
not optimal but very possible.

Well, assuming you are using Version 1.1.4 try cleaning out the system /tmp and
the Windows TEMP directory and restarting OpenOffice before you go further.
I remember this happening before but I think it was with an older version.
